This is your opportunity to join one of our newest groups, Kurling with a 'K', which has been adapted from the original ice sport .
It is played indoors, by individuals or teams, on any large flat smooth surface. The object of the game is to get your 'stone' closest to the 'bull'.
The stones are made from a strong compound and run on steel ball bearings that are positioned underneath. If you have difficulty bending, or need to be seated, then pushers can be used to move the stones.
The game can be played by all ages and abilities, and is already popular with many other u3a groups who report back about the laughs they have together.
This activity is suitable for all abilities/disabilities, but please wear flat non-slip footwear.
We have two coaches to help you improve: Beryl Northcote and Elaine Maiden
