How to join our u3a
Thank you for considering joining Southwell u3a, details on the costs and joining options are described on this page.
Associate membership is available for members of other u3as at a reduced rate.
However you choose to join us, we will print or send, via email, a membership card that we ask you show as proof of membership when attending meetings or a group.
Your details and emergency contact details are recorded in our membership database which is only used by Southwell u3a.
Joining us - the details
Costs
Membership runs from the 1st of March each year. The annual fee for 2026/27 per person, per year is £15 (£12 for associate membership).
We operate a pro-rata rate if you join half way through the year:

Fees in previous years may vary. If you join in the last quarter of any membership year (Dec-Feb) fees will be charged at the rate for the current year.

Joining .. Online
You can apply to join Southwell u3a online using our Beacon System Clicking the button below will take you to the online application form for you to complete.
Payment can be taken by PayPal or by Credit/Debit card.
Joining .. by Application Form
Please download and print the following two documents, fill them in and post to the address on the application form or bring the completed forms to a Monthly Meeting.
Alternatively you can pick up and complete the forms at a Monthly Meeting, Monthly Meetings are held at Southwell Leisure Centre, the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00am.
