As our title suggests, we are Lovers of the World’s Wines. At our meetings our pattern is for each member to present to the group in turn, either their favourite choices, or wines that they have newly discovered. We also inform where they were purchased, and contradictions found in prices. Each wine is tasted and compared with a similar wine grape from perhaps a different region. We hope to attend professional wine tastings in the future, and also visit a vineyard, to further our knowledge.
