The Photography Group had an unexpected month off in January due to illness but met again in February for a very interesting meeting. The Group has started a year long project with each member selecting a tree to photograph throughout the year to capture changes with foliage, fruit, colour, light and shadows.
Here are a couple of images of very bare January trees as they await the change in seasons.
The theme this month has been Patterns and Symmetry and next month we’ll show you some very interesting images. Patterns are all around us but what we are looking for is, perhaps the less ordinary patterns with the wow factor. A couple of images are shown below to demonstrate the pattern/symmetry theme: Tyre Tracks by John and The Staircase by Deb.
Even if you aren’t a member of the Photography Group you might be thinking that you wouldn’t mind having a go at one of our themes; so if you see an interesting pattern then take the photo with your phone or camera and send it to me.
