We were delighted to welcome in the New Year and look forward to another season of harmony, friendship, and an expanding repertoire. Our group currently enjoys between 25 and 30 participants each month, and we are always pleased to welcome new members.
Our January gathering began, as usual, with vocal warm-ups and simple rounds, before moving on to a spirited traditional wassail to celebrate the season. The session continued with a selection of classic pop songs performed in harmony, setting a joyful tone for the year ahead.
Members also have access to our online A Cappella Group Songbook, a growing collection of all the pieces we have sung since our inaugural meeting last June. This resource is designed to support both current and new
members in learning and enjoying our repertoire.
As a reminder, we meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Southwell WI Hall, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
