Remarkably, we know of only three Geopolitics Groups across the whole of the UK – the other two both being in Surrey! Current topics include “Geopolitics of Food, Farming and Fertilizer” and “Geopolitics of Big Pharma”. Most sessions also include a slot for “Topical Geopolitical Developments” and one for “Good News”, Faced with no local competition, Southwell u3a’s Geopolitics Group is gradually expanding, and is now close to its maximum size for a sensible discussion and debate. We meet at the Admiral Rodney on the second Thursday of each month. We are now considering opening a second group, on a day other than Thursday, to allow for some choice.
