The Photography Group has been working on an intriguing theme this month. We asked members to find specific letters of the alphabet in their everyday surroundings—not the letters themselves, but the shape of a letter in an everyday object or scene.
We chose letters at random from a Scrabble bag and set off to find them around us. We had to stop and look carefully at the shapes of everyday objects—for example, looking at a door handle and "seeing" the letter J. The photos are arranged in alphabetical order to make them easier to identify.
We hope you enjoy this month's images as much as we enjoyed creating them! The Photography Group is always happy to hear from anyone interested in learning more about this amazing pastime.
