The Photography Group welcomed 4 new members when we had our last meeting of the year this week. We showed our Light painting images and several are shown below. For those of you who don’t know, light painting is when we keep the camera shutter open for several seconds (some of these were open for 8 seconds or more) in total darkness and in that time we use coloured lights to create shapes. It sounds more complicated than it really is! We hope you like the examples over these three pages.
We are also planning our photographic themes for 2026 and I’m sure we’ll be able to present lots of interesting images to you over the coming months.
With 5 new members over the last couple of months we are now full to bursting, again, but are always happy to hear from potential members who would like to join our waiting list or are interested in knowing more.
