The Museums and Galleries Group brings together members who are interested in visiting art galleries for permanent collections and temporary exhibitions, museum displays and similar events.
We meet quarterly in January, April, July and September to plan our programme for the following months. During this meeting, members are asked to put forward suggestions of visits they are interested in making.
If there is sufficient interest from the rest of the group they are asked to do some initial research in preparation for handing it over to one of our booking team who will advise cost, confirm the visit with the venue, and advise payment details.
We aim to arrange one visit each month.
