Southwell u3a poetry group meet with a new theme chosen by the members, who read aloud in turn the poems they have chosen. The themes are wide-ranging, covering different aspects of nature, occupations, emotions, foreign lands and so on. Sometimes the poems read are discussed, but briefly, most of the time being given to simply listening and enjoying the poetry.
