We meet at each member's garden and the host gets the seasonal advice pertaining to their particular garden at the time they need it as we walk around.
We share knowledge of plants, specific pruning and growing conditions. We learn about plant propagation, information on vegetables, top & soft fruit production, soil improvement, weed and pest management.
Some garden design pointers can be offered if required and indoor discussions in the winter have included Slugs & Latin in Horticulture.
There is also the all important tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits and reminders for the jobs in the coming month. Not only are they learning groups but social ones as well.
