The Music Lovers Group starts its spring programme on Wednesday 4th February, the day after the monthly meeting. We play videos of mainly classical music in a concert format, with a mix of styles from Baroque to 20th Century favourites and occasional new music and surprises!
Members really love the quality of the video and sound in the comfortable surroundings of the venue, the Roman Catholic Hall, Wolsey Close, off Halam Road, Southwell, NG25 0AZ. There is ample parking, and time to socialise at an interval tea-break.
The spring meetings are to be held on the first Wednesday of the month 1:30pm to 3:30 pm: Wednesdays, 4th February, 4th March, 1st April and 6th May. A summer programme will follow on dates to be confirmed, but likely to be on Wednesday afternoons.
Meetings are usually well attended but there is always room for more. You will be very welcome to either just turn up at the meetings or contact the Group Leader by clicking on link below. Payment of £2 to £3 is collected at each meeting to cover costs.
Playlists of most past programmes are mainly on my YouTube Channel which I give you at the meeting, although sometimes videos can disappear if they are withdrawn and sometimes material is used from other sources. Please do have a look and a listen,
